TempWall — London
Rent's not getting any cheaper.
Your box room just got twice as useful.
A stud-and-ply partition wall that wedges into place with no screws into the building — no fixings, no damage, fully reversible. Split a big room into two rents, or wall off a walk-in wardrobe. Up in a day.
Your room shape
Drag the grey handles to roughly match your room's width and depth.

Why a wall
Use the space you're already paying for
London rent keeps climbing. Most flats have a room — or a stretch of one — that's bigger than it needs to be. A reversible partition turns that into a second bedroom to split the rent, or a proper walk-in wardrobe if that's more your thing.
No fixings into the building
The frame wedges between floor and ceiling on adjustable feet. Nothing is screwed into walls, floors, or ceilings, so your deposit and your landlord's building stay untouched.
Up in a day, gone in an afternoon
Most rooms are split in a single visit. When you move out, the wall comes down just as fast, and the room goes back to exactly how it was.
Two rooms, or one room and a wardrobe
Splitting rent is the most common ask, but the same wall works just as well to carve out a walk-in wardrobe or a home office — whatever the awkward space is worth more as.

Pick the size of wall you roughly need. This isn't your final price — that's confirmed on the survey call — but it's a real starting range.
Example prices shown for illustration and to be confirmed with your real cost tiers before launch. Monthly figures are an indicative 12-month split, not a credit offer — any actual finance plan is a regulated credit agreement, subject to application and status, arranged through our finance partner.

Example jobs
How the space transforms
Illustrative layouts based on our standard build system — swap these for photos of real completed jobs once you have them.
Shared entry strip
A short shared corridor keeps both tenants independent even when the room only has one door. Our default layout for most jobs.
Lengthways split
For long, narrow rooms — the wall runs along the length rather than across it, giving both halves a workable width.
Double-door alignment
Works when doors sit at opposite corners of the room — the wall splits straight down the middle without blocking either one.
L-shaped mini hallway
For centre-door rooms — two wall runs create a small hallway so neither tenant has to walk through the other's space.
Before you ask
Common questions
Does my landlord need to know?
We'd always recommend telling your landlord or agent before work starts — most are relaxed about it once they understand nothing is fixed into the building and it's fully reversible. We can provide a short spec sheet if that helps the conversation.
Will it affect my deposit?
The wall wedges into place using adjustable feet, with no screws, nails, or adhesive into the floor, ceiling, or walls. When it comes down, the room returns to its original state.
How long does install and removal take?
Most standard walls go up within a single visit. Removal is quicker still, typically a couple of hours, including a full check that the room's back to normal.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes — we offer a monthly payment option through a finance partner for eligible customers. This is a credit agreement, subject to application, status and eligibility checks, and full terms are confirmed before you commit to anything.
What if my room has an awkward door or window?
That's normal. On the survey call we'll talk through the best layout for your specific room — most awkward rooms fit one of our standard configurations with minor adjustments.
